Macro 2: (Haruka and Michiru embracing while nude IN SPAAACE) Queer love and deep frienship often coexist. Saying queer love ruins the friendship between characters makes no sense.
I’m really sick of hearing how people can’t think of certain characters as gay because it “ruins the ***purity*** of their friendship”. Guess which couple it was used on recently. Funny how people never complain about this when people ship het, or heterosexual couples become romantically involved.
I personally can’t stand this either. I ask myself: “Wait why can’t they be both to you? Have a pure strong beautiful friendship and be together? How on earth does having love for one another “ruin”a friendship?” It doesn’t. It’s just people being ignorant in my opinion. The same people who I think assume you only love a pairing because their screwing each other.
To me nothing is more beautiful for a pairing than when there is a strong friendship and they are in love.
